Did you spend your adolescent years running through the woods firing paintballs at your friends? Do you still tell old war stories about the time you managed to catch one off guard and light him up?

Paintball is an intense and fun game for kids, but it’s just as fun for adults. It’s also a game that lets you make money.

If you’ve ever thought, “I’d love to play paintball for a living,” you may have the opportunity! Professional paintball teams exist and allow for a decent income.

To get started, all you need is the right paintball equipment. So, in this guide, we’ll give you a checklist to get you started in the paintball industry.

The Essential Paintball Equipment Piece

Everybody who’s ever played a round of paintball knows how critical a role their gun plays. Without this piece of equipment, you’re nothing but a target for the other players.

While there are endless numbers of paintball gun models on the market, they break down into three modes of action. These include pump, mechanical, and electronic paintball guns.

While each player has their own style, we recommend the electric mode. These guns are quicker, more consistent, and more accurate.

Paintball Mask

A paintball gun mask is a necessary piece of equipment for all paintball games. This mask helps protect your face from harm if a paintball connects with it. However, the best masks offer much more.

An effective mask has a wide field of vision with fog resistance and open ventilation. It should also be comfortable to wear in any paintball environment, whether outdoors or indoors.

Hoppers

A hopper is a container that stores your paintballs at the top of your gun. Two primary types exist: gravity-fed and electronic.

Gravity-fed hoppers cost less but feed the balls into your gun at slower speeds. They work well for pump and mechanical guns, but an electronic hopper is ideal for electronic guns.

Barrel Covers

A cover for your gun’s barrel helps keep dirt out of the barrel and prevents unwanted firing. These items are essential for keeping your marker under your control, firing exactly when you need it. Most venues require these covers for various safety reasons.

Paintballs

Your gun is useless if it doesn’t have ammo! These pellets are the lifeblood of the entire paintball sport. They have a hard outer shell that prevents the ball from bursting when you fire but is soft enough that it splatters on impact.

Make sure you invest in high-quality paintballs! Low-quality pellets that burst prematurely make even the best players look amateurish. Also, make sure you have a place to store these, whether a tactical vest or a pack.

Additional Equipment

There are several other items you may need for paintball. These include:

  • Loose clothing
  • Head protection
  • Neck protection
  • Gear bag
  • Water
  • Gloves

Start Your Professional Career

Once you have your paintball equipment, you’re ready to face down opponents. Find a team to join and work your way up the ranks!

A bike also called a cycle or bicycle, is a two-wheel single track vehicle which is run with human power with the help of pedals. Bikes were introduced in Europe during the 19th century and were considered a popular method of transportation before motorcycles and cars were invented.  Even today you see people riding bikes on the streets for different reasons. Bicycles are used for transportation, exercise, racing, stunts and even as children’s toys. Bikes are considered to be a great invention by the human beings as all other motor vehicles were somewhat made by the basics which were present in a bike like, chain sprockets, bearings, gears, brakes and also the inflatable tires.

If you take a look at the modern day bike, it has developed a lot since the first invention. Different models and styles are made for separate occasions. I’m sure no one imagined the BMX bike would be invented to perform stunts.

History

Inventions similar to bikes have been seen since the late 1700s when a Frenchman, Comte de Sivrac made the Celerifere, a wooden hobby horse. In 1860 the first ball bearing hubs, solid rubber tires and gear shifts were invented which were a boost in the invention of a bike. As time passed by many people around the world started making changes to the bike and making it better. After the Second World War, due to automobiles being used more often, bikes showed a decline in popularity. However, Instead of ordinary bikes, people started making different styles used for various reasons. Most commonly used bikes to this date are racing bikes and mountain bikes.

Material

The most important part of the bike, which also is called the base of the bike, is its frame. The reason for the importance of this part is that it holds all other components together. The framework used to be made out of durable and heavy steel. Over the years the frame has received many upgrades with aluminum metal being used making it stronger, lighter, and durable. Even though aluminum metal has a shorter lifespan compared to standard steel or metal, the lightweight feature is the reason it is still being used.

People want their bikes to be fast and light so that they can ride comfortably. More expensive bikes are made out of composite metal which makes the bike lighter and faster than any material before. But this metal has made the prices of modern-day bikes rise. Apart from the frame, brakes, wheels, and chains are made of stainless steel as well. The bike manufacturer purchases all other parts of a bike from the market and only makes the frame. When they have all the pieces and structure ready they assemble it and test it to check the quality and safety.

Production Process

The procedure starts with the most crucial part of the bike, the frame. Today, most bike frames are made out of aluminum composite, implying that the metal has hints of silicon, titanium, magnesium, chromium, copper, manganese, zinc, and iron, however, is principally made out of aluminum. The first step is the heating and melting process of the solid aluminum. When it’s in liquid form other metals are added to make the composite. The finished material is aluminum composite prepared to be shaped into a bike frame.

To form the aluminum composite into a bicycle frame, the metal goes through the process called hydroforming. To set up the metal for this procedure, the aluminum composite is cut into thin metal sheets and after that moved into tubes. These tubes are set in a hydraulic machine which is then loaded with a liquid made out of water, ointments, drying agents, rust precautions, and anti-bacterial liquid. By filling the region around the tube with fluid, weight is connected which can form the metal into the desired shape. Once the hydroforming is finished, and all the tubes have been formed into the proper shapes, the tubes are welded together and smoothed with sanding, therefore creating durable bike frames.

The last step in the finishing of the frame is the appearance. The frames are painted or spray painted in different colors and designs so that they can look attractive. In the modern era, colorful bikes are more demanded then plain and simple black bikes. After finishing the frame, all other bike parts like brakes, wheels, seat, chain and other components are brought in from other sources and assembled by the bike manufacturer. A final test will be conducted to check for any faults and sent to the distributors.

You can also get your personally customised bike just the way you want it. If you still don’t know how to ride a bicycle, hurry and start learning so that you don’t miss the fun racing your bike with your friends.

Basketball, an American sport that is played between two teams with five players on each side. To score points players have to shoot the basketball into the opponent’s basket, attached to a backboard 10 feet high. There are two baskets in a basketball court, one on each side. Whichever team succeeds in scoring more points eventually wins the game. The ball always has to be dribbled in order to move around the court. The basic reason for the invention of this sport was to play something with least physical contact between players, lots of running, passing and shooting. Basketball is considered a game of teamwork and stamina.

History

On December 1, 1891, basketball was invented by an American physical education teacher, James Naismith, in Springfield, Massachusetts. The sport was first played by using peach baskets to score points. The peach baskets are the reason the sport got its name, basketball. After playing this exciting sport his students from International Training School of the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) spread all they knew about it to their friends and family members which is how the sport gained popularity. After getting permission from Naismith the rules he made were published in the school newspaper on January 15, 1892.

After that, the sport started receiving popularity from all around the world. Leagues, associations, and tournaments were introduced over the years making it an internationally recognized sport. Being part of the Olympics since 1936 this American sport created legends that brought gold to the USA many times. The National Basketball Association (NBA) which currently manages the basketball league in the USA was founded in 1946. Since then basketball has become one of the most watched sports in the USA. The one of a kind basketball is very commonly seen on every other child’s Christmas presents list.

Material

The outer layer of the ball is made from rubber, synthetic rubber, composition or leather. A bladder and carcass are used inside of the ball which holds the air. The carcass is made of threads of nylon or polyester and the bladder is made from butyl rubber. Foil, zinc and copper plates can be used to label the ball or imprint logos on to it.

Manufacturing Process

How to Make a Basketball

Forming the Bladder

To start with making a basketball the first thing that has to be made is the bladder. Made from black butyl rubber, it retains the air and makes the ball bounce. The rubber is melted into strips which are attached in the shape of a ball. A hole is punched into the bladder for the installation of an air filler tube. Due to the odd shape of the bladder, it is heated in a machine which makes it more flexible and stronger. After that, the bladder is tested by inflating air into it. If the bladder remains inflated it is clear for further process.

Shaping the Ball

In order to bring the perfect ball shape nylon or polyester threads have to be used. The threads are wrapped around the bladder to make it spherical in shape. High quality and professional balls are shaped with nylon threads, while street balls are shaped with polyester threads.

The Cover of the Ball

The cover of the basketball can be made from many different things. However, the best quality basketballs are made of leather. Whichever material is used it is cut into 6 equal panels that will be wrapped around the ball. Any marking on the panels is done before being wrapped around the ball. If the material used is leather then the cover will be stitched. If any other material is used then it will be glued on to the ball. Decals can be put on the ball by hand. After finishing the ball should be about 29.5 inches in circumference and should weigh about 20 to 21 ounces. The balls will get inflated again to be tested and set aside for around 24 hours. It will only be approved if it continues to hold air.

Finishing the Basketball

After clearing the air test the ball is tested one last time to ensure that it has the perfect bounce and appearance.  After accurately checking the basketball one last time it is deflated and packed. The packed basketballs are then forwarded to distributors. Basketball is a very fun sport to play with friends. It is a test of speed, technique, ball handling, stamina and team work. If you think you can handle all these skills then get your customized basketball and start shooting some hoops.

Baseball is a bat and ball game played between two teams of 9 players on each side. The teams take turns in batting and fielding. The batting side has to hit the ball thrown by the pitcher from the fielding side. In order to score runs, a batter has to run past all four bases in a diamond shape formation. The fielding side has to try to get the batsmen out by either catching the ball, tagging the batsman while he isn’t on a base or by making the batsman miss in hitting the ball three times which are called strikes. The batting side uses a baseball bat to hit the ball and score runs. Would like to learn how to make baseball bats

History

Before proper bats were used to play, people played baseball with sticks. When the sport was officially brought into consideration players either made their personal bats or bought them from a shop where bats were made. During the year 1863 league rules and regulations were comprehensive and permitted players to use whichever bat they find suitable. Many styles of different bats in weight, length, and shapes were seen being used.

However, the baseball federation then passed a law which limited the bat in length and diameter. The length allowed is 42 inches and diameter 2.75 inches. No weight limit was enforced which meant you could pick the weight whichever suits you best. Another law made was that the bat must only be made of wood. Players have always been careful with their bats and use customized bats with weights and grips just like they want it to be. If you are striving to become an all-star pinch hitter, choose your bat wisely.

Material

Baseball bats are generally made out of ash trees from upstate New York and Pennsylvania. Ash trees are well known for their flexibility, strength, and lightweight. A tree which is about 40-50 years of age is nearly perfect with the diameter to yield around 60 bats per tree.

After observation when a tree has reached the requirements needed, a forester marks the tree for the log cutter to come and cut it. The tree is split into approx 10-foot logs and loaded on to trucks which are taken to mills. After reaching the mill, the trees are checked for defects, and usually, only half of all the logs get approved to manufacture baseball bats. The approved logs are then cut into pieces of 40 inch and stored in the wood library distributed in weights and species.

Manufacturing process.

Making Billets

The pieces of wood are further made smaller by turning them into billets while shaving all edges off. After that, it is inspected once again and arranged into weights and quality. The ends get painted to protect the wood from rotting and later on transported to the bat manufacturer.

Shaping the Billet

When an order is received a billet is picked from the wood library depending on the model or type of bat which has been ordered. A worker places the billets into an automatic machine which shapes the billets into a rough baseball bat. During and after this whole process the bat is inspected numerous times to maintain quality and be aware of defects. If any issue is found the bat gets left aside and another billet is picked to make the bat. After assuring a bat is of high quality it is sent to the sanding department. The bats are appropriately sanded to remove all rough edges. After that, the bats are distributed according to the weight and model.

Making the Bat Perfect

The manufacturer always has samples of each model to match the newly bats and determine which model it is. Usually, orders which are placed by teams comprise of all types of models as all players have different weight preferences of bats. The bat turner, workers who make the bat, ensures the quality of the bat at every step and makes sure it is perfect. They are trained for making the same model bats every time without even the slightest of difference.

Final Touches

The last step is that the baseball bats are branded with the logo of the manufacturer of the bat and signature of the player who is associated with the model. The bat can also be colored or dyed into colors required, after which it is packed in boxes and delivered to the team or players who placed the order.

After the bat gets delivered to the team or player, it can be seen being used in the next game. If you have gotten your customized bat already made then get on the baseball field and play ball!
