It has always been a nuisance for fire officials around the globe that people park their cars in front of hydrants. It is hard to work at an emergency fire with these lazy people blocking the way. The California Fire Department attempted to display their viewpoint with a beautiful morning troll.

The fire department officials jogged the memories of drivers in California on 26th February 2019 by showing it to them that their vehicles blocking the fire hydrants are just a permanent breeze.

Anaheim Fire & Rescue Department was working against a domestic fire call they had received earlier that day. To access the hydrant, they had to find a way past the car parked by the stark red curb. Drastic measures were taken apparently. However, to top it up, they tweeted about the hose they made run through the back windows they had smashed in the process.

The tweet was posted at 9:30 PM on February 26, 2019, which read:

“Ever wonder what happens when a car is parked in front of a fire hydrant and a fire breaks out? Is a closer parking spot worth the broken windows and the citation and towing fees to @AnaheimPD?”

The Anaheim police department was also present during the fire rescue, and tweeted back claiming that the step taken was necessary to tackle the blaze.

Tweeters did question about why smashing the windows was necessary instead of just throwing the hose over or under the vehicle. The department tweeted back that the tube wouldn’t fit below the car and that throwing it above would cause more damage than just smashed windows.

They did know how to defend their troll right!
